Volunteer at Vista View
Your involvement is a very important part of your child's education. Spending time with your child has a positive impact on a student's self-concept and their ability to face new challenges. Parent volunteers play a valuable role at school. Volunteers may choose to help just in their children's classroom, work with small groups of students, or present information to a whole class. Opportunities to volunteer on a scheduled, year long basis (weekly or monthly) or one time special event opportunities are available. When you volunteer, you recieve "thanks" in so many forms, but the real impact is the positive feedback from the students that you have helped that day.
All adults wishing to volunteer at Vista View must complete an online background check, which only takes a few minutes and costs $7. Our school district requires this of anyone volunteering in our school building or chaperoning off-site field trips (no exceptions). Please note that it can take up to a week for the school office to receive notification of anyone that has passed the background check, so please plan ahead when submitting for a specific school event, such as a field trip.
You can complete the online background check here.
