Please help us share the word through your daily mail and newsletter the below announcement:
BHS Theatre now has tickets on sale for “Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” - on February 6th, 7th & 8th.
Any superfan (and non-fan) of that Certain School of Magic......for this definitely hilarious parody. See our thespians portray Wayne and his friends, none of whom are destined for anything great, as they are sorted by a hat of sorts into the PUFFS.
This play is rated PG-13 for some language and innuendo. Be prepared to laugh. A lot.
Tickets can be purchased at Www.MrazCenterTickets.com

8TH GRADE NEWS
On Monday, January 27th at 7:00pm, Burnsville High School will be hosting a Registration Information night for current 8th grade parents in the BHS Cafeteria. Principal Helke will provide parents with information about our Pathways programs, course options, and how to support their students in registering for classes at BHS. This meeting is aligned with middle school visits to BHS, so that parents are receiving the same information that students will get later in the week. Our 8th graders will be visiting BHS during the school day on January 29th to see a similar presentation, speak to current students and teachers, learn about the registration process, and also tour the school.
MODERN DANCE PROJECT
ISD 191 Community Education and Burnsville’s Youth Dance Ensemble have collaborated to offer students an opportunity to participate in a modern dance class for Middle School students. This program is held at Nicollet Middle School and transportation is provided after school. FLEXIBLE LEARNING PLAN REMINDER
District 191 has a "Flexible Learning Plan" for when snow or other weather causes schools to be closed. With flexible learning days, learning is interrupted less throughout the school year. Avoiding canceled days also maintains the integrity of the district’s overall academic calendar so students, staff and families can plan ahead.
Under the plan, the first cancellation due to severe weather will remain a typical 'snow day' or school closure. For subsequent cancellations (up to 5 days), flexible learning days will be implemented. Though conducted at home, a flexible learning day is considered a regular school day. Students and teachers are expected to participate in flexible learning day activities.
For additional information and Flexible Learning Plan resources, visit https://www.isd191.org/learning/technology-one91/flexible-learning-plan.
