Mental Health Partners

Mental health supports including counseling and other resources in both our schools and communities. Do not hesitate to talk to school staff if you have questions or need help. 

Services Available in School

The following mental health provider has an agreement with the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District to provide services on-site to students during the school day with parent permission: 

Washburn Center for children

Washburn Center for Children, which has specialized in children’s mental and behavioral health since the 1950s, is the new provider of mental health services in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.

Through this partnership, Washburn Center for Children will provide on-site therapy services support at school to students and families for issues related to school success, mental health, individual and family therapy, and crisis management. 

The agreement with Washburn Center for Children provides six therapists in the eight elementary schools, as well as two at Burnsville High School, one each at Nicollet and Eagle Ridge middle schools, and 0.8 at Burnsville Alternative High School.
