Student Achievement
Intro paragraph about our approach to student achievement and all of the strategies we employ toward those goals.
Strategies
World's Best Workforce
The World's Best Workforce plan is intended to serve as a foundational document to align educational initiatives that serve to ensure reaching intended student outcomes from pre-kindergarten to post high school graduation.
Progress outcomes used to determine district and school site progress include:
- closing the identified achievement gap(s) in the district
- all students ready for kindergarten
- all students in third grade achieving grade level literacy
- all students attaining career and college readiness before graduating from high school
- all students graduating from high school
Achievement & Integration
Through the Achievement & Integration Plan, District 191 and ISD 194 are partner districts aiming to pursue racial and economic integration and to increase academic achievement, create equitable educational opportunities, and reduce academic disparities based on students' racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds.
- Increase four-year graduation rate for all students
- Increase the percentage of incoming racially and economically diverse students demonstrating kindergarten readiness
- Decrease the disparity in representation for enrollment of students of color in rigorous high school courses
- Increase the percent of students access to teachers/classrooms demonstrating culturally responsive pedagogy
