Seven extraordinary volunteers received 2018 John Coskran Volunteer Awards in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 on May 10.
Two students from Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 are among top youth volunteers honored by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, a nationwide program honoring young people for outstanding acts of volunteerism.
Nominations are now open for the 2018 John Coskran Volunteer Award, presented annually in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. Nominations are due by March 23.
The award honors extraordinary volunteers who give of their time and talents to enhance students’ educational experience and achievement, and/or demonstrate the importance of volunteerism and good citizenship.
The Burnsville High School Giving Garden works year-round to grow food that helps support the 360 Communities food shelf and the BHS cafeteria. Students work in the winter to develop garden plans and grow starter plants. In the growing season, members plant and maintain a garden on the BHS campus.
Nominations are now open for the 2017 John Coskran Volunteer Award, presented annually in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. Nominations are due by March 24.

Calling all Harriet Bishop volunteers: Please join us for our annual Volunteer Recognition Reception on Friday, April 22 from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. in the school Media Center.
On Friday, April 29, Vista View will be having a day of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) at our school. During this day, all students will be engaged in STEM-related activities during their scheduled specialist time.

Parents we need your help...The last school dance of the school year is on Friday, May 15, as well as the 9th grade lock-in.
We also have two grade-level field trips on May 22.
