Bosch grant supports STEM Summer Academy for incoming 9th graders at BHS

A new program that helps incoming 9th graders make a successful transition to Burnsville High School will get an added boost next year thanks to a grant from the Bosch Community Fund.

The STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Summer Academy – launched in the summer of 2019 by District 191 Community Education and Target Services – provides students with a four-week learning experience that includes service learning, language arts, and engineering, including 3-D printing, vinyl cutting, drone programming and flying, bridge building and robotics.
