Tinkham's film "JERRAD" wins Best Documentary, Best Cinematography at EDU

Burnsville High School senior Scott Tinkham's film, "JERRAD," won Best Documentary and Best Cinematography at the EDU Film Festival, the premier Minnesota film event for high school students on May 13 at the ShowPlace ICON Theater in St. Louis Park.

"'JERRAD' is about a kid with cerebral palsy,” said Scott. “It is about him overcoming his limitations, and not letting his disability define who he is.”

Showcase performances run May 19-21

Showcase is a fully staged and choreographed, all-ages variety show that involves over 100 Burnsville High School students in its production.

BHS students engage in the production as stage managers and light, sound and running crews. Performers on stage sing and play a variety of pop and show music from the last few decades, while other students dance intensely and engage in exciting choreography.
