Small group conversations will help guide District 191’s strategic plan

District 191 is reviewing its Strategic Roadmap, which guides the district in making decisions about programs, spending and more.

As part of that review process, more than 800 people shared their ideas and responded to others' ideas in an online forum. Based on those comments and ratings, themes emerged including building community, providing tools for life, diversity, and Pathways.

Now, the district is inviting parents and students to participate in small group discussions taking place over the next several weeks. In these conversations, participants will discuss what the district should be doing to deliver on its mission of "Each Student. Future Ready. Community Strong."

Group conversations will be held both virtually and in-person for parents/family members and for staff members, with any in-person meetings strictly following health protocols, including mandatory mask wearing and social distancing. Student meetings will only be held virtually.
