What draws you to participate in theater as an actor or otherwise?
I was in my first show at Eagle Ridge when I was 5 years old. Ever since then my passion and love for acting has grown. I also love singing and dancing so a musical is amazing for me because I get to do the three things that I love doing the most, singing, dancing, and acting.

Tell us a little about your character, Nansi.
Nansi is an 11 year old trickster living in Cattawood Springs, Jamaica. She, like me loves to sing and dance. She also likes adventure and playing tricks on her crush Ziggy.

What has been most rewarding about being in this production?
The most rewarding thing is seeing how far we have come in such a short period of time. The dedication and positivity of everyone there is just incredible.

What has been most challenging?
The most challenging thing was definitely the Jamaican dialect. We want the show to be as authentic and respectful to the culture as possible. It is difficult not to slip into a different dialect or forget the dialect completely.

What should people be prepared for when they see "Three Little Birds"?
Be prepared to have lots of fun!!! It's a very colorful and upbeat show with lots of amazing music, singing, and dancing. There is an important message in the story, so just sit back, relax, and enjoy!
