Vista View kindergartners learn about the importance of bees

Bees at Vista View
Vista View Elementary kindergartners have been studying the life cycles of plants, so they got a special visit from Paula Johnson of Eagle Creek Apiary to learn about the importance of bees as pollinators.
Students learned about how bees pollinate flowering plants, including many that produce food for people, and how they make honey. Johnson brought beeswax, honey samples and even a small hive (behind glass, of course!).
