Burnsville High School robotics team receives award, advances to world championship

The Burnsville High School Robotics team received the Innovation in Control Award at the 10,000 Lakes Regional, which was held April 6-7 at the University of Minnesota.
The Innovation in Control Award celebrates an innovative control system or application of control components – electrical, mechanical, or software – to provide unique machine functions.

Based on their performance at regionals, the team is advancing to the Robotics World Championships from April 24-27 at the Cobo Center in Detroit.
Blaze Robotics inspires students to enter STEM careers, seek higher education and think creatively. It fosters an environment of inclusiveness – making sure students knows they have a place on the team. Blaze Robotics continues to forge a path towards developing leadership, innovation and self-empowerment in students through hands-on experiences.
