"High School Musical," a musical based on the Disney Channel original movie, opens Nov. 8 at the Burnsville High School Mraz Center for the Performing Arts, located at 600 E. Hwy 13.
Directed by Amy Stead, the musical follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. Featuring a large cast and upbeat music, “High School Musical” will be a production that’s fun for the whole family!
Performances run Nov. 8-10 and 14-17 at 7 p.m. There is a 2 p.m. matinee on Nov. 10 and a sing-along performance on Nov. 15.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $11 for senior citizens and $10 for students. They can be purchased online at www.mrazcentertickets.com.
