The first half of the Gifted & Talented Summer Institute is over but classes for students entering grades 1 through 7 continue until the end of July in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.
Upcoming classes cover a wide variety of topics and are designed to motivate, challenge and inspire children. Some examples are Spanish and French language, online game and app creation, computer programming, fencing, movie making and more.
The final two week-long sessions are July 16-20 and July 23-27 at Gideon Pond Elementary School, 613 E. 130th St., Burnsville.
Students who are currently enrolled or identified in a gifted and talented program are eligible to attend. In addition, students demonstrating a skill in the courses offered may enroll.
