Burnsville-Eagan-Savage schools to ask voters for more money this fall (Savage Pacer)

The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School Board decided Thursday night to ask voters this fall for more money for school operations.

In a 15-minute special meeting with very little discussion, the school board unanimously decided to ask voters to renew and increase the levy. Passed in 2007 and lasting through the 2017-2018 school year, the original levy was for $7.3 million and it’s used strictly for daily operating costs, not technology, facilities or other projects.
