BHS Concert Choir, Dakota Valley Symphony and Chorus perform in 'Three Choirs Festival'

Three dynamic choirs join forces at Ames Center on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m.

The Burnsville High School Concert Choir, directed by Martha Helen Schmidt; Hymnus, directed by Rush Wagner; and the Dakota Valley Chorus, directed by Tucker Moore, will present "Requiem for the Living" by Daniel Forest, accompanied by the Dakota Valley Symphony.

Brahms’ "Academic Festival Overture" and Rachmaninoff’s resplendent "Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 18," performed by Elise Kartheiser, will complete this robust concert conducted by Stephen J. Ramsey, Music Director.

A silent auction and Wall of Wine raffle will take place before the concert and during intermission. Raffle tickets for two Walls of Wine will be on sale in the lobby for $5 each.

Concert tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors (age 60+) and $5 for students at the John and Betty Adamich Box Office at Ames Center, or reserve tickets by calling 952-895-4680. Box Office hours are Mon.–Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m.–2 p.m., and open two hours before a show. Tickets are also available through (processing fees apply).
