District 191 announces first Community of Excellence Award winners

Seventeen staff members have been chosen to receive the first One91 Community of Excellence Awards this year from Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. The awards recognize the extraordinary contributions of staff members who empower learning, energize achievement and embrace community to achieve the district’s mission of “Each Student Real-World Ready.”

“I’m very proud and impressed with this first group of recipients for this new award,” Superintendent Joe Gothard said. “They are wonderful representatives of the dedication, professionalism and caring that District 191 staff members exhibit.”

The 2016 Community of Excellence Award winners are:

A ceremony to honor the 2016 One91 Community of Excellence Award winners will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 4:30 p.m. in the Mraz Center for Performing Arts at Burnsville High School, 600 E. Highway 13, in Burnsville.
