Auditions for "Into the Woods" slated for Sept. 14-15

Auditions for "Into the Woods," one of Broadway's most popular musical for stunning revivals, will be held September 14 and 15 after school in the Mraz Center. Students can pick up an audition packet with further information in the main office.

Stephen Sondheim weaves everyone's favorite storybook characters together for a timeless yet relevant piece and rare modern classic!

The story follows a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to attend the King's Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

The TONY Award-winning score is both enchanting and touching with memorable tunes that include "Giants in the Sky," "Agony," "Into the Woods" and the hauntingly beautiful "Children Will Listen" and "No One Is Alone."
