Interested in joining BHS Student Council?

The purpose of the Burnsville High School Student Council (Studco) is to promote school spirit and build community. It is a group of  approximately 30 students, 10 from each grade, who apply and are voted in by current student council members. The student council works year-round to organize most school activities and is comprised of dedicated students who want to support all Burnsville students in their academics, activities, athletics and talents.
Student council coordinates a variety of events, including the Homecoming Powder Puff game, bonfire, coronation, junior high assemblies and dance. Winter activities include the Sadies Dance/Masquerade Dance and Snow Week. The year culminates with the All District Dance and Mr. Burnsville.

Students who are interested in joining BHS Student Council should fill out the application and submit it by April 17. Mr. Riggs, Ted Ko or Claire Boatman will contact you about interviews, which will take place the week of April 20.

All applicants will be notified (through mail) by May 4 their application status.
