Metcalf, Nicollet theater students present 'Oklahoma!'

Theater students from Metcalf and Nicollet junior highs will be presenting the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical "Oklahoma!" this spring. Performances will be March 4-7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mraz Center for Performing Arts at Burnsville High School. 

Set in Oklahoma Territory outside the town of Claremore in 1906, "Oklahoma!" tells the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farm girl Laurey Williams. A secondary romance concerns cowboy Will Parker and his flirtatious fiancée, Ado Annie.

Tickets are $8 adults, $7 seniors, $5 students and can be reserved online at or purchased at the door the evening of the performance.
