Before the holiday break, Eagle Ridge Junior High students in Alexa Bailey’s and Luke Elward’s classes took time to write letters and cards to children for HopeKids, an organization that works to support children with life-threatening medical conditions and their families. In total, the students sent 325 cards and letters with a goal of “sharing some #burnsvillestrong,” according to Bailey.
