College is possible with College Possible

This year, the BHS Career Center is staffed with a representative, Abby Lincoln, from College Possible. She will be helping students search for and apply to colleges, along with preparing students for the ACT.

[College Possible] is an organization of idealistic leaders who believe the power of education, our students and our supporters can change the country. We coach low-income students toward college graduation and they prove, every day, that when college is possible anything is possible.

The BHS Career Center provides help to students and their parents with all aspects of college and career planning. Students are encouraged to visit the Career Center throughout their high school years to prepare them for college and beyond. Marcia Sexton is the Career Center Coordinator, who is directly housed in the center and guides students through the college process. In addition, there are school counselors on hand to help students who are interested in college and career information.

With College Knowledge Month (Oct.) approaching, there will be a variety of events at BHS. More information will be available soon. Please see Ms. Sexton in the Career Center if you have any questions.

Upcoming Events:

  •  Minnesota National College Fair, Oct. 7-8 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Visit the website registration information.
