District 191 Wellness Committee Meetings for 2020

Communication between the medical community and school(s) provides for positive health outcomes for students, families, and communities. Please let the Health Office staff know if your child has a chronic health condition and/or will require medication or treatment while at school.  Completing the forms and returning them to the school nurse will enhance coordination of services and promote an optimal learning environment.

Diamondhead Clinic

Non-emergency medical care is provided on a walk-in basis to children from birth through high school years. The clinic is located in the lower level of Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway in Burnsville. Learn more about Diamondhead Clinic.

IEP Health Related Services

If your child is evaluated to see if they are eligible for special education, and will receive Health Related Services as part of his or her Individual Education Program (IEP), the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District will share your child's name and date of birth with the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) to find out if your child is on Medical assistance or MinnesotaCare.

If you do not want the district to share your child's name and date of birth with DHS, you need to let us know in writing at least one week before we begin to do the evaluation. Send your request to:  Tonette Reisinger, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway, Burnsville MN 55337. If you have questions call 952-707-2083 or email

If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Health Services staff at your school. Staff listing, policies and forms listed at left.
