Tyler Sachse appointed to District 191 Board

The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Board of Education unanimously appointed Tyler Sachse, a parent of District 191 students, to fill a vacant seat on the Board. 

Sachse was one of three eligible applicants for the seat, which was left vacant after the resignation of Safio Mursal in January. The Board conducted public interviews on Wednesday, Feb. 12, and voted on the appointment during its regular meeting on Feb. 13. 

Following a mandatory 30-day waiting period, Sachse is expected to be sworn in at the March 27 Board meeting and will serve the remainder of Mursal’s term, which ends in January 2027.
