Three District 191 publications receive NSPRA Awards of Excellence
Three Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 publications have received Awards of Excellence from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).
The communications department earned honors for two projects, a district brochure in the Printed Publications category and the bi-annual Wayfinder in the Magazine category. The brochure provides an overview of District 191 by expounding on its mission, core values and Pathways approach to education. Wayfinder shows how all those things come to life in District 191 schools by highlighting innovative programming and the stories of students, staff and graduates. The communications department is composed of Aaron Tinklenberg, Director, Matt Steichen, Coordinator, and Lisa Lake, Specialist.
The community education department earned an Award of Excellence in the Marketing Publication category for its Spring/Summer catalog. The catalog is overseen by Program Coordinator Jennifer Green.
The projects competed against hundreds of entries from other school districts nationwide in NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards, which recognize outstanding education publications, marketing and informational materials, multimedia programs, social media and websites.
Since 1935, NSPRA has been providing school communication training and services to school leaders throughout the United States and Canada. As the leader in school communication, NSPRA serves more than 2,500 members who work primarily as communication directors in public school districts and education organizations.
