Tentative agreement reached with teachers union
At a mediation session on Nov. 20, negotiators for Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 and the Burnsville Education Association (BEA) reached a tentative agreement for their 2025-2027 contract.
Details will be made available if and when the members of the BEA ratify the agreement. If the agreement is ratified by BEA members, it would then go to the District 191 Board of Education for approval. No date has been set at this time for that action.
The Burnsville Education Association is the largest employee group in District 191, and the contract covers the employment of nearly 700 teachers, nurses, counselors and other licensed professionals.
