Nine Burnsville Blaze athletes sign National Letters of Intent on May 7 

The Athletics Department at Burnsville High School is proud to announce that nine Blaze student-athletes will sign National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, May 7, to play their respective sport at the collegiate level.  

Signing on Wednesday are: 

  • Rachon Ferguson-Lewis, football and baseball — University of Dubuque, Iowa
  • Luke Jolly, wrestling — St. John’s University, Minnesota
  • Hazel Kubisiak, track and field — Bethel University, Minnesota
  • Soren Leafblad, basketball — Bethel University, Minnesota
  • Riley Nelson, baseball — University of Morris, Minnesota
  • Madison Olafson, girls diving — Southwest Minnesota State University, Minnesota
  • Albert Ongwenyi, track and field — St. Thomas University, Minnesota
  • Quentin Platt, football — Minnesota North College - Mesabi Range
  • Minerva Uribe-Cardenas — Hamline University, Minnesota

These student-athletes have put together outstanding athletic careers while attending Burnsville High School, as well as demonstrated outstanding academic success in the classroom. The Burnsville community wishes them the best of luck as they continue on with their athletic and academic career.
