Families invited to Explore Burnsville High School on Jan. 22

Burnsville High School is excited to invite current eighth-grade students and their families to attend Explore Burnsville High School Night from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22 at Burnsville High School.

This event is the perfect opportunity for families of incoming ninth graders and prospective students to:

  • Tour the School: Explore our facilities, including manufacturing labs, performance and athletic spaces, and collaborative learning environments.
  • Meet the Staff: Connect with our passionate teachers, counselors and administrators who are dedicated to student success.
  • Learn About Academics and Programs: Discover our wide range of academic courses, award-winning Pathways program and specialized programs like AVID.
  • Explore Extracurriculars: Get a glimpse into the vibrant student life at BHS with information about athletics, arts, clubs and leadership opportunities.
  • Get Your Questions Answered: Gather all the information you need to feel confident about your student's transition to high school.

“At Burnsville High School, we’re committed to empowering students to explore their passions, achieve academic excellence, and build a strong foundation for their future,” said BHS Principal Jesús Sandoval. “We’re excited to open our doors and share what makes our school community so special.”

Explore BHS Night is open to all current 8th grade students, regardless of whether they attend a District 191 school.
