District 191 SEAC, PACER Center present 'The ABCs of the IEP' on April 14

The District 191 Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) has partnered with the PACER Center to present "The ABCs of the IEP" on Monday, April 14, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Pkwy in Burnsville. 

The presentation will provide parents with practical tips and resources that will help them as they support their students' transition to adulthood. 

The panel of presenters includes Hassan Samantar (Multicultural Specialist, Trainer and Advocate); Jesús M. Villaseñor (Senior Multicultural Specialist, Trainer and Advocate); Rose Quintero (Parent Trainer and Advocate Manager); and Beth James (Parent Trainer & Advocate).

There is also a panel discussion, "Navigating Public Resources," planned for Monday, April 28, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Diamondhead Education Center.
