District 191 receives School Finance Award
Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 has received an award for financial reporting from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Division of School Finance.
The criteria for fiscal year 2022 financial reporting includes:
- Timely submission of financial data and compliance with Minnesota Statutes
- Presence of select indicators of fiscal health
- Accuracy in financial reporting
“It speaks very highly about the professionalism of our staff, as well as our commitment to meeting the highest standards of financial integrity, transparency and accountability,” said Superintendent Dr. Theresa Battle.
The School Finance Award is awarded annually and recognizes schools for meeting statutory deadlines for submission of audited fiscal financial data and reporting criteria.
