District 191 graduates will receive diplomas in ceremonies June 3-6

Commencement ceremonies will take place in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 with graduates receiving diplomas at four locations in June.
Commencement for students in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Transition program will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at the Mraz Center for the Performing Arts at Burnsville High School, 600 E. Hwy 13, Burnsville.
Students in the Adult Basic Education program will be honored at a ceremony at 6:15 p.m. on June 5. The honors awards night will take place in the Eagan and Savage rooms at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Pkwy, Burnsville. Student speakers will be Mee Ahn (Outstanding Student for Advanced ESL), Sandra Chaustre (ESL student), Maria Cervantes-Garcia (ESL student), Fartun Ibrahim (Paraprofessional graduate), Siham Hassan (passed citizenship) and Christian Eboo (GED graduate).
Burnsville Alternative High School will present diplomas to students during a commencement ceremony at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, in either the school’s gym or courtyard, at 2140 Diffley Road, Eagan.
At Burnsville High School, the commencement ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 6. The ceremony will take place outside in Pates Stadium next to the school at 600 E. Highway 13. Each graduating senior will receive eight tickets for the outdoor ceremony. If weather conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony Friday evening, the ceremony will be moved inside and limited to three guests per graduate. Information will be posted on the district's website at www.isd191.org.
Student speakers at the BHS commencement will be Cristian Gamboa and Maxx Her.
