District 191, community partners help provide food security for families

Food insecurity has been a real challenge for many families, even long before COVID-19 entered the scene. According to Feeding America, more than 430,000 people face hunger in Minnesota. Nearly 150,000 of those people are children.

While charitable and government programs, like SNAP, help relieve some of the burden, it is still not enough for some families.

District 191 partners with a variety of organizations so that families have multiple ways to secure food resources. Along with our very own programs, including BrainPower in a Backpack and 191 Community Pantry, One91 is helping families become food secure during these uncertain times.
