Burnsville High School Theatre Guild presents 'Peter and the Starcatcher'
- Announcements
Burnsville High School Theatre Guild is delighted to announce the highly anticipated winter play, “Peter and the Starcatcher.”
“Peter and the Starcatcher” is a whimsical and imaginative play by Rick Elice, with music by Wayne Barker, that serves as a prequel to the classic tale of Peter Pan. Set in Victorian England, the story follows orphan Peter (played by freshman Sam Tyrrell) and his adventures aboard “The Neverland.” With Starcatchers guarding precious starstuff, the magical substance’s power is explored. Through humor and friendship, the play unveils Peter’s origin and the making of Captain Hook.
Director Erika Sasseville expresses her excitement for the production. “This play is a journey into the heart of imagination. It captures the essence of childhood wonder, inviting the audience to rediscover the joy of exploration,” she said. “The talented cast and crew have poured their creativity into bringing this tale to life, and we are thrilled to share this experience with our community.”
