On May 1, the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 Board of Education voted to bring three superintendent candidates back for final round interviews, which will take place on Wednesday, May 7.

The three finalists are:

  • Becky Brodeur, associate superintendent, Anoka-Hennepin School District,
  • Dr. Tyrone Brookins, assistant superintendent, South Washington County Schools, and
  • Dr. Latanya Daniels, assistant superintendent, Richfield Public Schools.

All three candidates will tour schools in the district prior to being interviewed. Interviews will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Burnsville Room at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway, and are open to the public. To ensure a level playing field for all candidates, the interviews will not be livestreamed.

The finalists were selected from a pool of 23 applicants based on criteria established by the school board and input provided through a public input survey. Four applicants were interviewed on May 1.
