Volunteer

Every year, nearly 3,000 volunteers contribute 64,000 hours of their time and talents to benefit students. This vital partnership between our schools and community supports school activities, enriches the curriculum and creates multi-generational and multi-cultural experiences that benefit both the students and volunteers.

The district welcomes volunteers at all schools. We will find volunteer opportunities that match your interests and your schedule. A volunteer services coordinator assists staff and volunteers in creating a successful program within their unique school community. The coordinator assists each site in creating an inclusive environment to encourage meaningful and productive roles for volunteers in order to achieve the goals of the school district.

To sign up as a volunteer or to learn more about volunteering in the schools, please contact the volunteer coordinator at the school where you would like to help, or contact Aaron Tinklenberg, the district volunteer coordinator.
