Burnsville High School is looking for community partners that can provide careers information to students at the school’s Career Expo, scheduled for Monday, Jan. 30 from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
Students, families and community members will have a unique opportunity to “discover” Burnsville High School on Tuesday, Nov. 1, getting a first-hand look at the school after Vision One91-related changes that include new facilities and the launch of “Pathways” programming.
Students at Sky Oaks Elementary School share what they want to be when they grow up. Whether its becoming a dance teacher, a doctor, an inventor or anything else, Sky Oak is helping students grow so they can be Future Ready!
At Burnsville High School, seniors will receive diplomas during the commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 10, in Pates Stadium next to the school at 600 E. Highway 13, Burnsville. Bleachers may be damp, so if you are attending please bring a towel.
As Burnsville High School employs future-focused Pathways next year, which will have students thinking beyond credits and graduation, the goal of the Career Center will be to educate students about the choices available, and assist them in exploring their interests and finding courses that will better prepare them for their future.
