All are welcome to join us at Rahn Elementary School of Arts & Technology for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5:00-7:00pm. We will have games, ice cream, and a time to get together as a community. There will even be a drawing for 4 Twins Tickets.
Students at Rahn Elementary School of Arts and Technology in Eagan found their school invaded by Vikings on May 30. Thankfully, these Vikings were there to hand out backpacks with books and spend some time playing games with students both in classrooms and the gym.
Parents of students at Sky Oaks, William Byrne and Rahn elementary schools are invited to attend any of these upcoming meetings to meet Shannon McParland and Akram Osman, who will become principal and associate principal, respectively, at Metcalf Middle School starting with the 2018-19 school year. We hope to see you there!
The Rahn, Nicollet & Metcalf orchestra students invite you to their Winter Concert on Thursday, January 18th,at 7pm in the Metcalf Middle School Auditorium.
The concert will feature beginning and advanced students in 5th through 8th grade, who have been studying their instruments for 1 – 5 years. You will hear a variety of selections, including Serenata, Marching Along and Gargoyles. The students have been working very hard and are excited to share their music with you! We hope you can join us, even if just for a bit!
Parents of future kindergarten students are invited to attend one of our specialized tours scheduled in the coming months. The tours are a great way to see kindergarten classrooms in action, meet school staff, and learn more about Rahn Elementary School of Arts & Technology. Stops on the tour will include an all-school assembly, watching "Morning Meeting" in a classroom, the school's new computer lab and recently renovated media center.

Mary Casserly-Smith and Paul Connell, both teachers in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191, have been named TIES 2017 Exceptional Teachers and will be honored during the TIES Education Technology Conference in December.
Rahn’s Fall Book Fair is Friday, October 27th along with our PTO dance from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Join the fun and support Rahn at the same time!

Orchestra students from six schools in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 will perform in two upcoming concerts at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 22, and Tuesday, May 23, at the Marz Center at Burnsville High School, 600 E. Highway 13.
