Three forums scheduled on proposed boundary changes


Three public forums have been scheduled to provide information and collect feedback about proposed changes in elementary school attendance boundaries in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.

Members of the board of education are asking for public input before making any decisions on the recommendations they have received from the Facilities Utilization Taskforce.

Sport Stacking

WSSA Central Regional Sport Stacking Championship


Teams and individuals, ages 4 to 84, from Minnesota and six surrounding states will gather Saturday, March 6, at the Eagan Civic Arena to vie for Best Time in the WSSA Central Regional Sport Stacking Tournament. Individuals and teams will compete in a series of timed events including the 3-3-3, 3-6-3, Cycle, Doubles and team relays events. Jake Loesch, event director and Harriet Bishop physical education teacher, and Jennifer Ganrud, Vista View physical education teacher, will both host teams at the event.

Community members 45 years and older, who live, work or play in the Burnsville area are needed to complete the Burnsville Community Survey.

Results from the survey will help shape the kinds of programs and activities to be offered in the future.
