Find summer fun at "The EDGE"
What are you doing this summer? The EDGE is a comprehensive youth program for students in grades 6-9 with a focus on building community, independence, communication and socialization skills in a fun, recreational and educational environment.
At the EDGE, kids are: • Active and out in the community. • Taking exciting trips each day. • Involved in community service opportunities. • Involved in planning have choices in activities.
It's a win for everyone! Kids have fun and parents are at ease knowing their children in good hands.

Byrne students excel at regional science fair
 William Byrne STEM Elementary students were well represented among award and ribbon winners at the 2013 SC/SW Minnesota Regional Science & Engineering Fair, held April 27 in Mankato.
For grades 3-6, 24 Byrne students participated and all projects earned ribbons in categories such as animal science, physical science and engineering, computers and math. Additional medals and Broadcom Masters Awards were also given to many Byrne students.
In addition, teacher coordinators, Barbara Gierada and Tracey Plante, were award 2013 Coordinators of the Year.

Math Masters succeed at Chaska event Congratulations to William Byrne Elementary Math Masters students who competed at the regional tournament at Chaska High School on March 8.
Team members are: Will Trussell, Jessica Nguyen, Caitlyn Kloeckl, Max Kestell, Ross Waataja, Josh Holtzleiter, Pratik Nehete, Hayden Johnson, Sophia Piccolino, and Sanjana Reddy.
The team earned three ribbons for fact drill, two ribbons for the individual round, one medal for the individual round, a 4th-place ribbon for the team round, and an 8th-place recognition for the team round.
Great job, everyone!
