Perform to Play Talent Show is May 23

The Hidden Valley Perform to Play Talent Show is set for Thursday, May 23 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC. This is sure to be a fun event for Hidden Valley families and friends.

Tickets are $5 per person, with all proceeds going to Project Playground – the fundraising project aiming to raise enough money to replace our aging playground equipment. Come and see your friends from Hidden Valley show off their various talent acts from magic tricks to singing!

Teacher of the Year




Stephanie Cin is congratulated by former students after
being named District 191 Teacher of the Year.

Hidden Valley's Stephanie Cin was named the 2013 Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 Teacher of the Year during a reception honoring all building teachers of the year on May 8.

After a career in social work, she joined District 191 in 1998 as a classroom teacher and taught third and sixth grades before becoming a behavioral interventionist and assistant principal at Hidden Valley. She also serves on the school's leadership team and is the school's volunteer coordinator.

Find summer fun at "The EDGE"

What are you doing this summer? The EDGE is a comprehensive youth program for students in grades 6-9 with a focus on building community, independence, communication and socialization skills in a fun, recreational and educational environment.

At the EDGE, kids are:
• Active and out in the community.
• Taking exciting trips each day.
• Involved in community service opportunities.
• Involved in planning have choices in activities.

It's a win for everyone! Kids have fun and parents are at ease knowing their children in good hands.

Online Book Fair runs through May 25

Couldn't make it to the book fair in person? Have parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or friends out of town that want to shop for themselves or your student? Are there more titles that you would like but don't see them at our fair?

The Hidden Valley Scholastic Bookfair is available online through May 25 with free delivery directly to your student's classroom. All proceeds from this will count towards the Hidden Valley Book Fair and Hidden Valley.
