Fun & Field Day Postponed

The Kindergarten/1st Grade Fun and Field Day has been CANCELLED for today (Tuesday, May 21) due to the possibility of more scattered showers/unpredictable weather and the wet grass fields.

Fun and Field Day will be RESCHEDULED for next Thursday, May 30.


BOGO Book Fair is May 20-24

Get some great summer reads at the Harriet Bishop Buy-One, Get-One Book Fair before the end of the school year. Simply buy one book and get another of equal or lesser value for free!

The fair will be open:
  • Monday, May 20, 3-5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 21, 3-5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 22, 3-5:30 p.m.
  • Friday, May 24, 3-5:30 p.m.

Fifth grader wins oratorical contest

Harriet Bishop Elementary fifth grade student Sanjana Krishnamurthy (center) took first place at the Prior Lake Optimists Club Oratorical Contest this year. The topic for this year's contest was "Why My Voice is Important." Sanjana's entire speech is available online at http://bit.ly/Zy87jy.
