| The 2011 BHS Career Fair |
More than 100 local professionals will be available to discuss career pathways at the 18th annual Career Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, in the cafeteria of Burnsville High School, 600 E. Highway 13. The event is free and open to the public.
Architects, engineers, business owners, teachers, mechanics, musicians and many other professionals will share information about career pathways with students and their parents. In addition, mini-workshops on career-related topics will be presented by the Dakota County Workforce Center.
“This is a great chance to explore a large number of career choices and to ask questions about education, training, salary and more,” said Marcia Sexton of the Career Center at Burnsville High School. "Students will be able to gather a lot of information to help them plan their futures."
