I am excited to be teaching second grade at William Byrne Elementary this year. I enjoy teaching in a district that shares my vision of high expectations for students while also instilling motivation and passion in children to pursue lifelong learning and success.
I earned my Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota and I started my teaching career in Minneapolis. I have taught in District 196, Rochester and Faribault and taught Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grade.
I am married and have two sons (Max and Hugo) and a dog (Dobby). I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking by Minnehaha Creek and Lake Nokomis near my home in south Minneapolis, and going to our family cabin.
I enjoy learning about the social and academic needs of my students and learning how to help them reach their individual goals. I look forward to working with you to have a successful year.
