METCALF CHESS SILENT AUCTION
Metcalf Masters Chess Team will be holding the annual Silent Auction Saturday February 23rd at the Metcalf Middle School cafeteria. Bidding begins at 8:00 am and will conclude at 2:00 pm. The community has contributed over $10,000 in donations that will be put up for bid. Items include: Gift cards to exclusive restaurants, salon and spa packages, Entertainment - theater tickets, museum and gallery tickets, arcades, & family fun, auto care packages, wine and beer packages, artwork, handcrafted items, private lessons from Chess Masters and MORE! Winners can claim and pay for their items at the conclusion of bidding. Terms are cash, check, or credit card. group crafts. You can ride the activity bus at 4:45 or get picked up between 4:30 and 4:45.

MCDONALD’S NIGHT FOR METCALF
We will be having a McDonald’s night TONIGHT from 4-8 pm at the McDonald’s on Nichols Road in Eagan. Tell them you’re from Metcalf and our school will get 15% of the sales!!
HONOR CHOIR STUDENTS

Students may begin to sign up for Metcalf Boys’ and Girls’ Track and for Boys’ Tennis. Please make sure you have a sports physical on file with the office. Go to the FeePay site to sign up!

METCALF NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
The Metcalf National Junior Honor Society will be having a Donation Drive. This donation drive will benefit the Saint Paul Intervention Project (a shelter for women and children). The donation drive will begin on Monday, February 11th and will run for two weeks. You can bring items to the donation bag in your Advisory class. The following is a list of items being collected:
Diapers, Wipes, Hand/Face Soap, Body Wash, Shampoo/Conditioner, Hair Care Products, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Dental Floss, Razors, Sanitary items, Hand Sanitizer, Lotion, Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap, Toilet Paper, Tissues, Gift Cards (to places like Cub Foods or Target).

METCALF ENVIRO CLUB
The Enviro Club will have a meeting on Friday, February 22nd in Room 110. We will be discussing our plan for the garden and our mini-ecosystems. Please see Ms. Plante with questions.
BHS GIRLS LACROSSE
The Burnsville High School girls lacrosse team is excited for our upcoming season and are inviting all interested lacrosse players in grades 7-12 to join scheduled captains practices. STUDENT COUNCIL PROJECT
The Metcalf Student Council is participating in a “Pennies For Patients” fundraiser for cancer. All money will be collected in Advisory classes the week of March 4th through 8th. The Advisory class that collects the most money will win a pizza party!
