MCA MATH TEST
We will begin the MCA Math Test TODAY and will continue on Wednesday from 7:47 - 9:42 a.m.
It is important that students are ON TIME to school as the testing will begin right away. Students should have their Chromebooks charged and ready to go. Students should also eat a good breakfast and get plenty of rest!
METCALF PTO MEETING
There will be a PTO Meeting TONIGHT at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend!
BHS STUDENT COUNCIL
Any 8th grade students that are interested in being considered for BHS Student Council should complete an application and turn it into the Main Office by April 26th. Student Council applications were sent home last week in your Advisory classroom. BHS Student Council is lots of fun so please consider completing the application!!
GOOD LUCK TO OUR METCALF CHESS TEAM
We wish the best of luck to our Metcalf Chess Team as they compete in the National Junior High Chess Competition in Dallas, Texas from April 25th - April 30th. There will be over 1,100 students competing! Metcalf students attending are:
Grade 6 - Erin Feely, Mitchell Kellen, Owen Krick, Soren Leafblad, Mason Pederson, Jake Schoenbauer
Grade 7 - Gerald Johnson and Joseph Santos
Grade 8 - Victor Ekstrand, James Grabowski, Gwen Hook, DJ John, Audra Johnson, Kendrick Johnson Gavin Kellen and Will Moe
GIFTED & TALENTED INSTITUTE
There are many opportunities for summer classes through the Gifted & Talented Institute. Classes are offered at Sky Oaks Elementary. Please check out the link HERE.

ALL-DISTRICT DANCE, DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT AND ACTIVITIES FOR 8TH GRADERS
Who: All 8th Graders at MMS, NMS and ERMS
When: Friday, May 3rd at BHS Main Gym and Activity Center
Time: 7:00 - 9:30 pm
Cost: $5 Cash Only
Concession Stand: Cash only
*Only 8th graders from ISD 191 is allowed to attend. No guest(s) from other schools or underclassmen can attend.
BHS SPRING MUSICAL
The spring musical at BHS will be “Seussical”. They will be performing in the Mraz Center on the following dates/times:
April 25, 26 & 27 and 7:00 p.m.
May 2 & 3 at 7:00 p.m.
Plan to go and enjoy the show!
SUMMER STEM SUCCESS ACADEMY
The Summer Stem Success Academy is a program for District 191 students currently enrolled in 8th grade and interested in earning high school credit for English Language Arts and Service Learning. The Dates for the program are: July 8th - August 2nd (Monday - Fridays) from 8:45 am - 12:25. For more information, please see the attached flyer or stop by the office to pick up a registration form.
