Thank you for your interest in volunteering in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. This district has a one-of-kind amazing volunteer program. Every year, nearly 3,000 volunteers contribute 64,000 hours of their time and talents to benefit students and their learning.
NOTE: Please contact your child's school if you want to know that your background check was approved.
Volunteers support students and teachers, promote school/community interaction, support school activities, provide multi-generational and multi-cultural experiences, and enrich the curriculum for all learners. The district welcomes volunteers at all schools! We will find volunteer opportunities that match your interests and your schedule.
A volunteer services coordinator assists staff and volunteers in creating a successful program within their unique school community. The coordinator assists each site in creating an inclusive environment to encourage meaningful and productive roles for volunteers in order to achieve the goals of the school district.
To sign up as a volunteer or to learn more about volunteering in the schools, please contact the volunteer coordinator at the school where you would like to help or contact Ruth Dunn, the district volunteer coordinator.
