METCALF DRAMA EXPERIENCE
Audition sign-ups are now available outside Room 306 for the Winter Drama, Bookends, presented by the Metcalf Drama Experience. If you missed the meeting on the 9th, you can still pick up an informational packet in Room 306 or in the main office to learn how to sign-up for crew or audition to be on stage. See Mr. Orth with questions.
The pickup date for the PTO fundraiser items will be Wednesday, November 29th. Families will be notified the week of November 27th to let them know when items can be picked up. Thank you.
METCALF CHESS CLUB
The 52nd annual Metcalf Open Chess Championships will begin after school Tuesday. This school championship is open to all students, even if you are not on the team.
This will determine the school champ, as well as help determine who makes the team.
To register, just stop after school in Room 109 on Tuesday. There will be two games Tuesday, two Thursday and one Friday. More details can be found on flyers on stairway doors.
Art Club meeting is TODAY from 3-4:15 in Room 102. We will be starting to work with watercolors and learning different techniques and skills to create watercolor masterpieces. For updates about art club email Mrs. Plueger at email@example.com.
METCALF BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Metcalf basketball is open to any 7th-8th grade girls and boys. Please make sure your sports physical is on file with the main office and get registered on FeePay. Start date will be announced soon. ALL DISTRICT HONOR CHOIR AUDITIONS
All District Honor Choir auditions are TODAY after school. Any music student from Metcalf may audition! See Mrs. Kaso in the Choir Room for more information. We will have a performance at Burnsville High School with the high school choirs in March. Come join us in singing some fun music!
METCALF BOY’S WRESTLING
Boy’s wrestling is open to any and all interested 6-8th graders. Practices will start on Monday, November 20. Uniforms are provided. Wrestling shoes are strongly encouraged.
