METCALF ART AND CRAFT SHOW
On May 17th there will be the first annual Metcalf Art and Craft Show here at Metcalf! We want to celebrate all of your hard work and successes here in the arts. Starting March 19, there will be after-school sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 3-4:30 for you to bring your artwork to work with Mrs. Plueger and get it show ready. Anyone in grades 6-8 is welcome to submit work they’ve done here at Metcalf or on their own in the last year. If you have a drawing, painting, sculpture, sewing project, knitting, or culinary recipe, Mrs. Plueger and Mrs. Ruzichka want to celebrate you! Bring in work you’re proud of. There will be prizes for each grade level - Best in Show, Awards of Excellence, Honorable Mentions, etc. One lucky student will win the Metcalf Choice Award and have their work displayed here at school permanently! We hope to showcase all of your creative efforts in May! Talk to Mrs. Plueger for more information.
