District 191 sends regular News Highlights and Month Ahead emails to all families of enrolled students, as well as those who have subscribed.
District 191 schools distribute e-newsletters using parent-provided information through ParentVUE. This way, there’s only one account for you (and us) to maintain.
If you have a ParentVUE account: All you need to do is make sure you’ve added an up-to-date email address to your account, and we’ll send you our e-newsletters automatically. To check your information, log in to your ParentVUE account, then click on the "My Account" tab in the upper left corner of the screen. You’ll see if you have an email address entered, and you can update it right from the screen.
If you don’t have a ParentVUE account: You can create one very simply by sending an email to email@example.com with the following information for all students: First and last name, grade level, student ID number, birthdate, and the name of the school they attend. You’ll get a reply with instructions on setting up your account.
If you don't have a child in a school, but still wish to receive that school's eNews: You can still register to receive e-newsletters from specific schools. Please contact those schools' main offices directly to sign up.
Even if you don’t want to receive e-newsletters, signing up for ParentVUE is a good idea. It allows you to access student grades, attendance information, make online lunch account payments, and much more. Learn more now.
