Students at Burnsville High School and Burnsville Alternative High School earned 2,599 credits worth $1.28 million in tuition through the University of Minnesota’s College in the Schools (CIS) program during the 2017-18 school year. It’s the second most credits earned at any Minnesota high school through CIS classes.
It’s not even one year old, yet the student-run credit union at Burnsville High School has already earned recognition locally, statewide and nationally. From day one, students collaborated with Firefly Credit Union to plan all aspects of the branch office and now they’re staffing it.
Congratulations to Burnsville High School senior Kamal Martin, who has officially been offered and accepted an offer from the University of Minnesota to play football.
