Burnsville High School students will have a new opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world technology skills next year as the school partners with the Minnesota Department of Education and Best Buy to offer the Mouse Squad Certification Badge Program.
Parents and community members are invited to attend a Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 Tech Share Fair on Thursday, May 28. At the fair, teachers and their students will be demonstrating some of the many interesting ways technology is being integrated into their work.
Burnsville High School seniors Mitchell Dotas and James Kearney were the school's top scorers on a technical online exam and placed seventh in the statewide 2015 Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills competition at AutoMotorPlex in Chanhassen on May 6.
Teachers and students throughout Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 are taking extra time the week of Dec. 8-12 to focus on creating computer code as part of a global movement that will involve millions of students in more than 180 countries.
