BHS Theatre Guild presents 'Once Upon a Mattress,' opens Nov. 7

If you thought you knew the story of 'The Princess and The Pea,' you may be in for a walloping surprise!

Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larken's love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling reason that she reach the bridal altar post haste? Or that, in fact, it wasn't the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night?

'Seussical the Musical' opens April 25 at Burnsville High School

Burnsville High School Theatre Guild presents "Seussical: The Musical," a fantastical, musical extravaganza featuring Dr. Seuss' best-loved characters. The musical opens April 25 at the school’s Mraz Center for the Performing Arts, located at 600 E. Highway 13.

"Seussical" takes viewers young and old into the world of Dr. Seuss, where beloved characters come to life, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and JoJo.

Final 'High School Musical' performance sold out Nov. 17

We are so very grateful for the overwhelming interest in people coming to see the production of 'High School Musical' on the Mraz stage and supporting our talented students, staff, and volunteers who have made it happen!

The closing performance this evening, Nov. 17, is sold out, so there will not be tickets available at the door for purchase. We are hoping that when you receive this announcement you will share it with family and friends to help us spread the word and avoid any unnecessary travel.

Auditions for "Into the Woods" slated for Sept. 14-15

Auditions for "Into the Woods," one of Broadway's most popular musical for stunning revivals, will be held September 14 and 15 after school in the Mraz Center. Students can pick up an audition packet with further information in the main office.

Stephen Sondheim weaves everyone's favorite storybook characters together for a timeless yet relevant piece and rare modern classic!
