Burnsville High School students, staff, alumni and community members will be celebrating homecoming during the week of Oct. 1. There will be many festivities, including themed dress-up days, a student-wide pep assembly, an array of athletic events and the homecoming dance on Saturday night.
Listed below are the scheduled events for homecoming:
Professional Day — No school for students
Following tonight's football game, there will be a bonfire for BHS students only. The bonfire was originally scheduled for Wed. Sept. 10 but was canceled due to the weather.

Come out and cheer on the Blaze football team as they take on the Minnetonka Skippers in this year's Homecoming football game! Tickets for the game will be on sale until Friday, Sept. 12 in the Athletics office. The price is $7 for adults and $5 for students. Purchase tickets early to avoid the lines! Gates will open at Bob Pates Stadium at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
Tickets for the Homecoming dance will be on sale during all lunches beginning Friday, Sept. 5. Cost for the dance is $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Burnsville will be celebrating Homecoming a little early this year! Beginning Sept. 8, there will be a host of activities to show your school spirit. Administration, teachers and staff have planned a fun week of events for BHS students.
